•Check menstrual status and ? family history of

•Limit alcohol if excessive, overweight or abnormal liver
function tests

•Reassure patient about harmless nature especially if a
young female

•Review drug treatment (oc pill)

•Reassess after 2-3 months

•Very elevated levels could take >6 months to return
to normal
